To marketing and sales managers of digital technology in the upstream oil and gas industry:
You have a great product to sell, you have worked out how to present it, and you have a big choice of possible ways to do it - trade shows, magazines, direct sales, conferences..
You need to find the marketing vehicle which will present your product in the right way, which will reach the target audience, and will reflect well on your company.
We want you to choose us as one of your marketing partners.
We have a fast growing community of buyers of digital technology, who are signing up to receive our magazine and e-mail newsletter.
They read our magazine because they want to find out about the latest products and how other oil and gas companies are managing to get the most value out of digital tools.
The content is written at the right technical level - weighty enough to attract and maintain our readers' attention, but light enough that they actually read it, rather than just flick through as readers do with many highly technical journals.
So they can absorb your advertising marketing message as they read the magazine wherever they are.
Let us tell you a little more about ourselves.
PEOPLE
Digital Energy Journal Ltd, based in central London, was founded in December 2005 by the successful team behind Digital Ship magazine, the world's leading magazine for information technology and communications in the deep sea shipping industry, and Tanker Operator, the world's leading magazine for deep sea tanker shipping, among other titles.
Karl Jeffery, editor of Digital Energy Journal, was founding editor of Digital Ship magazine and a past editor of Tanker Operator magazine.
He has also organised a groundbreaking series of conferences about how the oil and gas industry is working together with the tanker industry to reduce the risk of tanker operations, commonly considered to be the biggest environmental risk that oil companies face, with a scheme called 'TMSA'.
Karl has a degree in chemical engineering from Nottingham University, UK.
Keith Forward, technical editor, is a previous staff writer to Digital Ship and Tanker Operator magazine, also Via Inmarsat, Hazardous Cargo Bulletin and Cargo Systems. He is an expert writer on technology and industry issues. Keith has a physics degree from Imperial College, London, and also studied image processing at University College London.
