Geotrace sees data management service growth in 2008

- Geotrace Data Integration Services Limited, the data management practice of Houston-based Geotrace, says it saw a year-on-year growth of more than 30 percent in 2008.

Geotrace said this was powered by the release of Tigress Live!, an integrated, real-time exploration and production data management system.

Tigress Live! is a a multi-location exploration and production database built on Oracle that organizes data resources around a common real-time hub.

Information is made available 'on demand' and can be used by teams based in different locations around the world.

All data entering or leaving the system passes through an integrated layer providing access control, security management, automated quality assurance and comprehensive audit trails established by the client.

Users interact with the system via a graphical user-interface and are provided with a comprehensive set of tools to perform common reservoir management tasks, such as production reporting, well-performance indicators and closed loop simulation.
