Kuala Lumpur
ADAX, Bangsar South

Malaysia is leading the world in its use of digital technology in upstream oil and gas operations, and we'll explore how it is going that at our 7th Digital Energy Journal forum in October 2018, organised this year in partnership with MDEC, the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation.

Our first day will look at how companies are using digital technology to improve their overall profitability - including safety and efficiency - including how they manage exploration data, determine where to drill, manage production and manage facilities.

The second day will look at how the oil and gas industry is providing many opportunities for people with data science and digital technology expertise, to be part of these efforts to take the industry further.

Come and join us as we explore the use of digital technology in this leading part of the world.

Supported by Malaysian OIl and Gas Services Council - with speakers from PETRONAS, JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration, Cairn India, Bumi Armada, Teradata, MDT, Flare Solutions, EJ Joint Venture Group of Companies

You can see a report from our 2017 forum, with articles published in Digital Energy Journal, here

This event follows on from our Oct 2017 "improving the digital platforms" event - see the agenda - see the attendees list

We still have a few speaker / sponsor slots available, please contact Karl Jeffery, editor of Digital Energy Journal to discuss further, on
