Amalto Technologies and Spira Data team up to launch Field-to-Finance

Thursday, June 27, 2013

Amalto Technologies (Amalto), announced a formal alliance with Calgary-based Spira Data, to launch Field-to-Finance. Field-to-Finance, an oil and gas industry-first solution, combines the best of electronic field ticketing and electronic B2B integration services to significantly reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) from the field to the office.

Recent industry reports have claimed that DSO for oilfield services companies can be as high as 100 days and as a result, companies are evaluating ways to receive payment faster, improve cash management and gain increased visibility into financials.

Paper field tickets and manual invoicing have been the primary catalysts behind longer accounts receivable cycles. While adoption is increasing individually amongst electronic field ticketing and invoice automation, Field-to-Finance's proprietary technology enables a seamless solution.

The field ticketing and data capture engine of Field-to-Finance allows customers to capture transactional, payroll and operational data from the field using laptops or handheld devices and transmit this data back to headquarters or a field office. There are a variety of field ticket templates available, designed specifically to support the needs of various oilfield services such as coiled tubing, fracturing, fluid hauling, construction, equipment rentals and more.
