Friday, July 6, 2012

Arecon Data of Oklahoma has developed a cloud-based software package for oil and gas companies to track tubulars and pipelines being used downhole, called "Tally Wizard".

The software is aimed to help oil and gas companies reduce downhole tubular failures and manage their tubular inventory.

The company anticipates 50 per cent growth in 2012.

Mary Fallin, governor of Oklahoma, recently met the company at the Calgary 2012 Global Petroleum Show.

"The Tally Wizard software that Arecon Data has developed is a great example of the groundbreaking work taking place in our state,' said Governor Fallin at the trade show.

'Oklahoma continues to gain global recognition for leading the charge on cutting-edge technology in the Oil & Gas industry.

'Oklahoma's economy benefits immensely from the investment and jobs created by high-tech companies like Arecon Data."
