Drillinginfo becomes Enverus and commemorates 20 years

Friday, November 29, 2019

Enverus, formerly known as Drillinginfo, is celebrating its recent revenue growth and successful acquisitions with its new brand, which better reflects the company's identity as the leading energy SaaS platform and analytics company.

The company, which started business in 1999, employs cutting-edge technology to provide its customers with data, information and actionable insights, helping to make critical business decisions that drive the future of the energy sector.

Enverus' solutions cover oil and gas analytics, trading and risk, and business automation for customers across the energy industry, including upstream, minerals, oilfield services, financial services, midstream, refining, power and industrial segments. The new name coincides with the company surpassing $300 million (£240,930,000) in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).

The name Enverus is comprised of three elements that, when combined, reflect the company's past, present, future, and overall philosophy. EN: the energy industry; VER: clarity and truth; and US: partnership, collaboration, people, and humanity.

It's the leading and largest SaaS platform in energy, with solutions for commodity traders and risk managers, which provide the timely and specialised data and insights needed to get ahead, and the information and flexibility to validate opinions and size the opportunities found.

Enverus, which has UK offices located in London and Stonehouse, provides its cloud-based platform to deliver bespoke data packages to users. The company's products are split into three segments: Enverus Drillinginfo which provides data to the upstream oil and gas sector, Enverus Business Automation to drive customers' operational efficiency and Enverus Trading & Risk, providing access to advanced market data and analytics.

'This business was started by 'oilpatch kids' in 1999 when the industry was on the cusp of both a massive digital revolution and a once-in-a-lifetime disruption from unconventional oil and gas. Over time, that team built a recognisable and iconic organisation throughout the upstream oil and gas businesses. Together we achieved unprecedented energy production in the U.S. and across the globe,' said co-founder and visionary Allen Gilmer.

'From the beginning, we have fuelled ourselves by the power of our phenomenal people, and those people are now building the most important, integrated problem-solving platform across the world's largest, most significant, and impactful industry ever - energy,' Gilmer concluded.
