Dynamic Graphics launches version 5.0 of its CoViz 4D

Friday, October 14, 2011

US specialist in "spatial analysis problems" Dynamic Graphics has launched version 5.0 of its CoViz 4D software for working with subsurface data.

The software aims to help geophysicists and others make better decisions using a range of data collected across the oilfield, by being able to see all the various data together.

Geophysicists and reservoir envgineers can quantitatively compare their 4D seismic with the reservoir simulations and other time-related (temporal) data.

There are tools for property back-interpolation, attribute averaging/extractions, time difference calculations, and instant volumetrics.
