Gentay launches intrinsically safe smart phone

Gentay Ltd, a company based in London and Singapore, has launched an intrinsically safe smart phone.

It runs the Nucleus RTOS operating system, has a 2 megapixel video camera, GPS, bluetooth, wi-fi, and can take 2 SIM cards. It weighs 210g.

The unit costs £1200, with volume discounts, up to a 15 per cent discount when purchasing over 100.
