MicroSeismic launches FracRx

Friday, November 8, 2019

MicroSeismic recently launched FracRx; the formalization of MicroSeismic's data analytics and synthesis platform, which integrates multi-physics data to derive a prescriptive solution for improved Well Economics, Maximized Drainage Volume, Optimized Completion and Risk Mitigation.

This proven solution enables Operators to increase their NPV and ROI.

FracRx achieves the following:

• It builds a complete stimulated reservoir model based upon a propped and unpropped discrete fracture network as illuminated by the monitoring data.
• It builds an economic model based upon the operator's cost and price decks.
• It performs a reservoir simulation to estimate fluid volumes produced and drainage volumes achieved over time, and it performs financial modeling to estimate the most economic (greatest NPV) completion parameters.

FracRx is unique in that it is the only service provider who can deliver the stage-by-stage answers engineers need, while they are pumping, to improve production and increase asset value. Additionally, FracRx offers a complete description and map of the treated reservoir, including drainage volume, during the frac - a first of its kind. FracRx will alert operators to intervene before they frac out of zone, frac into a fault or into a parent well. Customized treatment designs are provided for every stage to achieve ideal simulation and recovery. This provides better insight and analysis into well performance business intelligence platforms.
