Paradigm announced that North Caspian Operating Company N.V. (NCOC) has extended its agreement with Paradigm for the provision of Technical Information Management (IM) and Computing Support and Consultancy in Kazakhstan.

The new three-year framework agreement extends a previous six-year relationship between Paradigm and NCOC.

The agreement includes the management of a full and continuously supported, secure, backed up and disaster recoverable data management center in NCOC's facilities in Kazakhstan, for life cycle business processes: geological/geophysical interpretation, Earth modeling, reservoir simulation, drilling, petrophysics, integrated production modeling, technical IM and computing support and consultancy services. The agreement also includes support for Paradigm's geological and geophysical applications, such as the Geolog formation evaluation product suite.

'We are very gratified that NCOC has chosen to renew its agreement,' said Mikhail Erchenkov, sales director at Paradigm CIS. 'Paradigm's customer support team will continue to work together with NCOC geoscientists, petrophysicists and engineers to ensure optimal, safe and successful exploitation of the hydrocarbon assets of Kazakhstan.'
