PIDX Houston event agenda

The full agenda for the Spring Houston meeting of oil and gas e-business standards organisation PIDX on April 3 is online.

The event starts with a keynote talk from Eric Abecassis, CIO, Schlumberger, on "digital disruption in the upstream".

Morning speakers include Jaime Boothroyd, Pricing & Demand Allocation Manager, BP and Michael Ross, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Oildex.

The afternoon keynote will be from Andrew Mercer, Director, Solution Architecture Information Technology and Services (IT&S), BP, on "The Role of Data and Standards in our Modernization and Transformation Journey."

There will be a panel on "digital transformation strategies", with Jeremy Paquette, Principal Consultant, ACT Global Consulting (chair); Andrew Mercer; Rick Conner, Electronic Commerce/EDI Manager, Schlumberger; Andrew Stewart, Vice President, Customer Experience, Cortex Business Solutions; Art Skinner, Global Director, Digital Operations &
Risk Management, BP; Sebastian Gass, General Manager, Technology, Strategy & Services, Chevron.

After the break there will be talks from Chandra Yeleshwarapu, Senior Director, Halliburton Landmark and Chris Welsh, CEO, OFS Portal; Lisa Rotunno, Senior Manager, Global Energy Services, DTN; Paul Lichter, Product Manager, DTN; Marc Battistello, Senior Technical Director, Baker Hughes, a GE Company; Lynn Taylor, VP Development, Oildex.
