Stephen is a petroleum geologist who has worked with many types of oilfield data, particularly in the areas of reservoir quality, structural geology, fault seal and pore pressure.
He started his career working on exploration assignments for Unocal and BP/Amoco, before returning to university to undertake MSc. in Sedimentology at Reading University, studying the Clair Field, West of Shetland. <

Ikon Science new integrated rock physics and geopressure study of the North Sea
Ikon Science announced today the completion of its latest Roknowledge product, the Central North Sea (CNS) Study. A multi?disciplinary team spent over a year systematically working through the data, analysing and investigating over 35 wells across a broad area of the CNS. A first of its kind, the study integrates rock physics with geopressure to identify and unlock hidden E&P potential and provide a unique calibration and interpretation of the seismic behavior at key reservoir intervals.

Ikon Science reports software and solutions growth in fiscal year 2012-13
Ikon Science shared its results for fiscal year 2012-2013 with its board and investors. The company continued its fourth year of growth in sales of its leading RokDoc software platform (over 50% growth in the fiscal year) and services as well as significant growth in the sale of Roknowledge non-proprietary regional pressure and rock physics studies.
