OGIC (Oil & Gas Innovation Centre)
OGIC provides a single access point to the knowledge and capabilities of Scottish universities for the oil and gas industry. It also part-funds and provides management support to projects that have the potential to deliver technology solutions for exploration, production and decommissioning challenges facing the UK Continental Shelf. OGIC is currently supporting over 50 projects and has more than 60 in development, from underwater robotics to systems for enhanced oil recovery.

£1 million funding to encourage oil and gas innovation
The Industry Technology Facilitator (ITF) and the Oil & Gas Innovation Centre (OGIC) have joined forces to fund and support the development of innovations which could reduce costs, raise production efficiency, and improve safety and environmental performance.

Oil & Gas Innovation Centre supports 31st project
The Oil & Gas Innovation Centre has signed its thirty-first project agreement, which will see the development of a system which will allow heat from subsea pipelines to be converted to DC electrical power.
