Neil Hodgson -
Dr Neil Hodgson joined Spectrum in June 2012, having previously worked for BP, BG and Premier Oil in a number of Exploration Geology roles over a 25 year career. His last role prior to joining Spectrum was as Exploration Director for Matra Petroleum. Neil is focussed on developing the understanding of hydrocarbon plays in the areas of Spectrum's Library, and finding new ways for Spectrum to do bus

Spectrum deal to create the world's largest collection of seismic data
Spectrum has completed the transaction to acquire Fugro's Multi-Client seismic data and in doing so has created a record-breaking library of modern 2D seismic. Standing at over 3.3 million line km, the Spectrum library is now the world's largest, comprising 587 datasets and spanning 67 offshore territories. The deal also includes a significant quantity of 3D seismic data which increases Spectrum's existing 3D library by over 700%.

Huge Mexico Seismic Acquisition Program from Spectrum / PGS /Schlumberger
A MOU has been executed for a cooperation agreement between Spectrum, PGS and Schlumberger in Mexico. The collaboration will acquire 80,000 - 100,000 km of modern, long-offset 2D data encompassing all the major hydrocarbon provinces offshore Mexico. This includes areas currently on offer for Mexico's Round 1 in the Perdido Fold Belt, Mexican Ridges Province, Campeche Deep Sea Basin and will also provide seamless coverage across the Yucatan Platform tying to Spectrum's Big Wave program in the eastern area of the US Gulf of Mexico.
