3rd Doing More With Offshore Engineering Data

Latest ideas and experience for managing data and documents related to offshore operations
£60

Tuesday, November 25, 2014
Aberdeen
Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Aberdeen Treetops

We invite you to register for our 3rd Aberdeen "Doing More with Offshore Engineering Data" event, a forum for sharing the latest ideas and experiences for better ways to manage data and documents related for offshore operations. This includes design, maintenance, spares and operations documents, and making the most out of data over the lifetime of the asset, covering design, construction, operations and decommissioning.

You won't need reminding that in order to maintain offshore safety and asset integrity, reduce operational costs, avoid errors and ultimately maximise value from offshore assets, you need to get as much value as possible from the data you have - which means managing it in the most effective way possible.

Our opening speaker, Alan Tough, was data manager for ConocoPhillips' Jasmine Project, business process change manager with North Caspian Operating Company in Paris, Capital Projects Process Change Manager with BP and Engineering Data Warehouse Project Lead with ConocoPhillips. He will speak about how to orchestrate a high quality information management handover for a capital project.

Lin Whitworth of Datum360, a former project information manager with a North Sea operator, will be tackling the question, "is the customer always right". Do oil and gas companies always know exactly how their project information should be managed?

Rick Standish, solution strategy manager with AVEVA Solutions will explain the latest with developing a 'digital asset' - a information model equivalent to the entire physical asset - and how it can help with decision making.

Sturle Drageset, sales and marketing director with ShareCat will explain how to close the information gap in major projects. Peter Moyes from Amtech will explain how to make it easier to manage spares and components using RFID.

Early booking tickets are just £60. Academic tickets (for lecturers + students) available for £5 + VAT with voucher code academic

We look forward to meeting you there!
