A lot of useful data is lost during the asset lifecycle - this events looks at the latest practise and technology which can help us keep it. This events looks at better ways to manage data during an asset handover, manage data over the lifecycle, make more use out of design data, and manage documents better. With speakers from Maersk Oil, AVEVA, Datum360, CGI and Siemens

Part of our 2014 Aberdeen Offshore Data Week - subsea data, engineering data, IT infrastructure

Topics we expect to cover include:

  • Make design data work harder
  • Improving project management data - managing project costs
  • Data to manage offshore safety
  • Integrating design data over the lifecycle
  • Improving document management
Instead of losing much of the design data when your offshore asset starts production, you can keep it over the lifecycle of the platform - and have a ready-made data system when the platform moves into operations.

This event follows on from our events in November 2013 ("Doing more with offshore engineering data), May 2013 (Improving offshore design decision making) and March 2013 ("improving offshore facilities management")
