Kari Anne has a Ph.D in information technology for University of Stavanger. Her specialty is within semantic technologies and its applications. She is main responsible for EPIMs solutions in the Drilling and Production Data domain. Previously she has been with POSC Caesar Association, where she worked with Reference Data for the Oil and Gas Industry.

Owner Operators are facing an increasingly regulated, complex and competitive business environment where the virtual plant asset plays an increasingly important role in ensuring successful delivery of projects and in ensuring safe, sustainable and effective operations. This presentation will examine industry trends, business impacts and the role that the virtual plant asset plays. Innovative technologies to leverage the virtual plant asset to address key work processes and deliver business benefits throughout the asset life-cycle will be demonstrated. Extending the life of existing brownfield facilities is one challenge currently facing the industry. Intergraph’s approach to establish a virtual plant asset for brownfield assets from legacy documentation and laser scanning to support extended operation and decommissioning will be the focus of this presentation. A selection of case studies will also be presented. |

Ninna Ravn is managing director and owner of Evidens A/S, a company specialising in document control, and provides qualified consultants and staff in Norway, to evalute document processes, implement document management systems, to help clients track key information. It also offers intensive courses in document control and lifecycle information. She was previously leader of the document centre for Norwegian Contractors, responsible for extensive cleanup and creating document control procedures in major EPCI projects.
