Talk Description. Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) needed to improve reliability of wellhead data and efficiency in records management as in the past:
• Wellhead diagrams were not verified, not approved or in discrepancy with the wellhead actually on site • Number of valves on paper did not match the number of valves on wellhead on site. • Spare parts sent to site is wrong due to wrong information found in wellhead data sheet
This lead to increased cost, man hours and operations down time. To address the issue, BSP technical data management team worked with the drilling department, completion and well intervention team, to create a well head reports Engineers Data Model (EDM) for wells drilled and completed in 2017. |
