We invite you to register for our 'People and Subsea Data' conference in Stavanger on December 10th, to explore better ways to gather and work with data about the subsea, including taking subsea measurements, monitoring and diagnosing subsea equipment, working with the data and monitoring the oilfield.
If we can get better at working with subsea data, we might be able to find ways to get subsea oil and gas fields to similar levels of recovery to fields with platform wells. Doubling subsea recovery rate, to the same as typical platform recovery rates, could mean a 10 per cent increase in global oil reserves, according to Schlumberger's CEO, in a speech last year.
Jost Wittmann, CEO of Subsea Scanning, will talk about an optical high resolution subsea measuring tool; Stian Bentsen, commercial manager of GE Oil and Gas will present the latest with subsea monitoring and diagnostics; Jacek Kacperski, Subsea Systems sales manager with Siemens Software, will talk about how to better work with data about subsea operations; and Helge Brandsaeter, President of OCTIO, will speak about the benefits of integrating subsea surveillance with reservoir monitoring.
This conference follows our Aberdeen event in June "Digital Subsea".
