rightsolid is lead by Chris Van Der Kuyl and is wholly owned by the DC Thomson Group. You may recognise the name Brightsolid from recent news as the acquirer of Friends re-united for our Online Publishing brand. The on-line Technology division delivers all the groups hosted solutions and exploits the skill we develop with external customers. Services range from managed hosting in our datacentres in Dundee, Edinburgh and London to Virtual network operation. We also provide a number of platform as a service clouds for both traditional and innovative new applications that we are launching on the European market.

The Dundee Data Centre is particularly of interest to the Oil & Gas Aberdeen sector as an excellent Tier 3 facility ideally located for a DR site or for some of our clients it is the Production site.

Clients include, Cairn Energy, CNR International, Kongsberg, ConocoPhilips, Senergy, Lloyds Banking Group, Nationwide, Standard Life, RBS, Fife Council, Dumfries & Galloway Council to name a few.
