AGR Software Solutions appoints new vice president

AGR has appointed the Norwegian Petter Mathisen as vice president of its global Software Solutions team.

Petter will be responsible for marketing and developing AGR''s software portfolio, including its industry-leading P1 and M² products.

A Mechanical Engineering graduate of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) Petter brings a wealth of oil and gas industry experience to his new role.

Prior to joining AGR he was Sales Manager Scandinavia for NOV Downhole. He has also worked for Schlumberger in Russia, with ReedHycalog in Stavanger and globally for SPT Group.

AGR recently launched version 4.0 of its P1software, which allows operators to maximise performance during well construction projects. Redesigned with the end user - the well engineer - in mind the latest version of the product is 100% faster, significantly more useable and interactive, allowing the customer to communicate online with AGR''s support team.
