AGR wins frame agreement with Norwegian Petroleum Directorate

Friday, August 23, 2013

Global oil and gas service provider AGR has won a contract to deliver a two-year frame agreement for the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD).

Under the agreement, AGR's Norway-based Reservoir Management Team will deliver services within geology and reservoir engineering, including reservoir modeling, petrophysics, reservoir simulation and increased oil recovery.

Following a tendering process NPD selected AGR from a shortlist of three companies to deliver the contract, which has a one plus one year extension option.

Morten Heir, AGR's VP of Reservoir Management, said ''We are very pleased to have been selected to deliver this important frame agreement and to continue our excellent working relationship with the NPD.

Last year the Team secured a contract with Gassnova to develop the Norwegian state-owned company''s carbon capture strategy.
