BB Visual new release of collaboration software

Thursday, January 19, 2012

Collaborative technology provider BB Visual of Bergen has issued a new release of its B2 Virtual Arena Visual Information desktop meeting tool.

It combines audio, video and software applications, to share between people in different disciplines and geographic locations.

Magne Arne Brekke, Chairman and CEO of BB Visual Group, claims that the technology is "Already the number one choice for collaborative technology users in medical and oil and gas companies."

The software enables audio and video, including video streams from software applications, to be shared between any desktop PC or mobile device. The data can be compressed so it can work well if there is only a narrow bandwidth available.

There are tools for remote mouse and keyboard control. There is an automatic computer start and launch option.

You don't need any complex cabling or switching, just a speaker, microphone and webcam.

'A challenge for any business is to make its important work processes, teams and assets more accessible and in an easy to understand format. The powerful features and advanced feature set of the next generation B2|Virtual Arena 2.0 software makes it the future choice of collaboration for teams and businesses,' Mr Brekke says.

BB Visual customers include Statoil, ConocoPhillips and Saudi Aramco.
