Bands from BP, BG Group, E.ON, EDF, National Grid "battle" in London

A "battle of the [musical] bands" for the energy industry event is being held in the Cargo nightclub in Shoreditch, London, on September 20th.

There will be bands representing E.ON, EDF, National Grid, BP and BG Group.

The event is being held in aid of charities Mencap and City Gateway. Tickets cost £10 with all money going to charity.

Paul Rocke, project manager for the evening, says that the event is held for the third time and on previous years it attracted around 400 people.
