CAN Group to offer asset integrity management services

CAN Group of Aberdeen, a company providing inspection and mechanical services, has launched a new business unit called "ENGTEQ" which will provide asset integrity management services.

The services were previously provided by different divisions of CAN Group.

180 employees are being moved into the new ENGTEQ business unit, and it will have its own £5m engineering centre in Aberdeen.

'The rationale behind separating our offering was to bring a clearer focus and differentiation to the asset integrity engineering services we provide," says Innes Walker, CAN Group director.

This aims to highlight the distinct and independently managed services, which can be tailored to match the needs and requirements of our clients.

"ENGTEQ will continue to build on this reputation and over the next 12 months expects to recruit an additional 40 employees across integrity management, pipelines, structural and corrosion disciplines.'
