EnerMech commissions online learning system from Oilennium

Friday, February 10, 2012

Aberdeen mechanical engineering company EnerMech has commissioned UK company Oilennium Ltd to provide an online learning system for its staff and clients.

The learning modules include an introduction to the company, an overview of the oil and gas industry, and quality, health / safety and technical modules.

They will be available to EnerMech's staff and clients.

The "introduction to oil and gas" course covers Geology and Exploration, Production, Rigs and Installations through to Advanced Techniques and Offshore. It has 9 modules each up to 30 minutes long, with animations and knowledge checks (tests).

There is a training system for managers to keep track on how their staff are progressing through the training.

'Oilennium has provided us with a blended solution which allows us to combine both e-learning and practical hands-on training delivery which results in a better learning outcome for the delegates," says Joe O'Kane, EnerMech's Director of Training.
