IDS new version of drilling analysis software

Friday, March 9, 2012

Oil and gas data reporting services company IDS has launched a new version of its drilling analysis software, VisNet 2.0

The software distils real time drilling data so it can be viewed in dashboards.

New tools have been developed to enable drilling data to be filtered, ordered and grouped 'on the fly', rather than continually query the data.

It also has predefined chart templates, so you can view data in commonly used chart formats quickly. For example, the template of a depth-curve chart will automatically be set up with an inverted y-axis, appropriate depth range and no labels on the points.

IDS also reports that it has moved its headquarters to a new office in Malaysia, in the Great Eastern tower, Kuching City.

The office layout is carefully designed to maximise productivity and office efficiency.
