New integrated technology platform to help energy and shipping companies

Thursday, August 8, 2013

A new integrated technology platform has been developed to help reduce crew travel costs and to aid travel policy compliance and duty of care for energy, offshore and shipping companies.

ATP Instone - a specialist travel business for the oil, gas and shipping industries - will be showcasing its new ATPI CrewHub technology solution with demonstrations at the show, which is the largest of its kind for the offshore energy sector within Europe. ATP Instone is exhibiting at stand 1C81.

The new technology platform can also help reduce staffing costs, increase booking speeds and minimise human error. ATPI CrewHub works in partnership with existing crew HR systems including SBNT, OCS and Seacrew, and enables companies to send traveller requests, vessel and trip information directly from their crew management systems.

The seamless profiling and order management system delivered by ATPI CrewHub allows simple bookings to be dealt with electronically and more complex situations to be handled by trained and knowledgeable ATP Instone consultants.

The new system has been developed using the specialist knowledge of ATP Instone consultants and interfaces directly from client''s HR systems to ensure that there is a clear overview of where crews are and what costs are involved. The enhanced management information saves costs, time and allows for more efficient rota planning of individuals and teams.

The software will be exhibited at the upcoming Offshore Europe exhibition in Aberdeen.

ATP Instone will also be showcasing its Traveller Tracking technology which has been developed to support clients'' duty of care procedures and can track travellers anywhere in the world.

Part of the ATPI Group, ATP Instone has over 90 years of experience in the field and specialises in meeting the needs of professionals whose travel is mission critical.

The ATPI Group employs 1,400 people in over 60 offices around the world, and has successful operations in corporate travel, corporate event management, online travel technology and specialist travel management for a number of key industries including the energy and shipping sectors.
