Oil and gas (data) standards leadership council meeting in Heathrow, Feb 26

The Oil and Gas Standards Leadership Council is holding its first UK meeting, at Heathrow Hilton on February 26. It is a full day event followed by a social event.

Standards organisations involved include Energistics, PPDM, MIMOSA, OGC, OPC, PIDX, PODS, POSC Caesar, and SEG.

Admission to the meeting is open and priced at $120.

The purpose of the council is to improve co-ordination between the various data standards bodies, identify areas where two bodies are developing a standard which dos the same thing, and identify areas where standards from different bodies can be brought closer together.
