Petrel mapping module by Petrosys

Petrosys, working with the Schlumberger Petrel E&P software platform development team, has embedded its mapping application into the Petrel platform.

The module known as the 'Petrel Mapping Module by Petrosys' ('PMMbP') is now available in the 2016.1 release of the Petrel platform and also as a plug-in to Petrel 2015.

The new capability enables customers to use the mapping technology more efficiently as the Petrosys mapping software is deployed directly and seamlessly within the Petrel platform. The project leverages over 30 years of Petrosys experience as a specialist in mapping technology to provide an intuitive mapping experience for Petrel users.

The Petrel Mapping Module by Petrosys complements existing mapping workflows in the Petrel platform, to produce high-quality maps for both on-screen and print in different coordinate projection systems, enabling contour, polygon, and data editing.
