Petrosys announces the appointment of Suri Bhat as Chief Executive Officer

Petrosys, leader in Geoscience and Data Management Solutions for the Energy Industry, announces the appointment of Suri Bhat as Chief Executive Officer effective from 16 March 2023.

As Petrosys CEO Suri will take leadership of Interica, GLOBEClaritas, and GPinfo.
Following an established career in the energy sector spanning over 25 years, Suri comes to Petrosys with a vast amount of knowledge and expertise across the energy lifecycle. Having started out in technical software development and engineering roles, Suri moved into business development and leadership, most recently as Global Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Suri's industry experience and technical know-how will complement the well-known and growing Petrosys product suite including Petrosys PRO, dbMap, and Interica OneView, as the company collectively moves into this new phase and continues to evolve to meet customer needs.

The new appointment follows the elevation of former CEO Scott Tidemann to Chief Product Officer for the Carina Portfolio within Vela Software, of which Petrosys is a part along with sister companies GeoSoftware and Geoactive. Scott will now be well placed to draw on the synergy between product offerings and collaborative energy across the wider company group to better serve individual and mutual clients.
