Petrosys appoints Ian Little as CEO for growth

Friday, July 24, 2015

Adelaide-based oil and gas technology company Petrosys announced the appointment of Ian
Little as Chief Executive Officer to accelerate the company's growth.

Adelaide-based oil and gas technology company Petrosys announced the appointment of Ian
Little as Chief Executive Officer to accelerate the company's growth.

Before joining Petrosys, Ian was for 12 years Managing Director of Australia's leading natural gas
distributor, ASX-listed Envestra Ltd (recently renamed Australian Gas Networks Ltd), also
headquartered in Adelaide. He is also Chairman of the Australian Gas Industry Trust and the Board of
the University of South Australia's Business School.

Ian is a chartered accountant, with more than 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry in
Australia, the United Kingdom and the Asia Pacific region.

In announcing the appointment, Petrosys Chairman Michael Trenerry described the opportunity to
recruit Ian Little as most fortuitous. 'Ian brings a wealth of experience in the oil and gas industry, as
well as in finance, which will be of immense benefit to the organisation,' he said.

In assuming the CEO role with Petrosys, Ian succeeds Petrosys co-founder and long-standing
Managing Director, Volker Hirsinger, who will remain on the Petrosys board.

Volker has for some time driven Petrosys business in the Americas from the company's office in
Houston, Texas. Volker will continue in that role, with an enhanced focus on the significant
opportunities for the company's geological mapping and data management products in the North,
Central and South American markets.

Michael Trenerry said Volker had made an enormous contribution to the business since Petrosys was
founded in 1984. 'Ian's appointment as CEO frees Volker to engage with the Petrosys customer base
in the Americas in order to substantially grow the company's presence in those markets,' he said.
