Polarcus uses Metizoft document management for seismic vessels

Seismic vessel operator Polarcus is using the Metizoft "Completion" document management software for new vessel operations.

The software contains and manages all the documentation of the vessel, from handover of the ship from the shipyard until scrapping of the vessel.

Metizoft will supply the database and collect, categorise and review the documentation.

The software is designed for fast uploading of data between vessel and the shore.

Polarcus also used the service for its first 6 vessels which were built in Drydocks World Dubai.

"Completion" is an open software technology, which avoids costly licensing agreements introduced by larger players, the company says.
