Presight Solutions awarded Total contract

Presight Solutions has been awarded the contract to deliver the barrier performance monitoring software solution for the Martin Linge field.

'We are proud of the confidence shown by Total E&P Norge, with Martin Linge the first production platform using the Presight Barrier Monitoring software. Total selecting our technology is a recognition of our solution experience, to effectively connect systems and the complex socio-technical processes that may have influence on the barrier performance in operations. This contract extends several years of close cooperation with Total within software solutions for performance monitoring' says Petter Holst Johnsen, Presight Solutions CEO.

The solution is in use today by several drilling contractors operating under the Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority management regulations. The digitalization solution monitors technical, operational and organizational barrier elements, supporting awareness of major accident hazard risk across the organization.

The license and services agreement for the barrier monitoring solution was finalized between parties in July 2017 and the work has started in preparation for production from the field, expected from 2019.
