Qatargas implements PAS alarms management system

Qatargas has decided to implement alarms management software from US company PAS.

It will use PAS' "PlantState Suite" software, which can provide an analysis of alarms in place, compile documentation, and help with alarms auditing. It can be used to monitor and maintain the alarm system on an ongoing basis.

'We chose PAS to optimize our alarm systems. With this project, we expect to reduce operator loading and facilitate plant safety, all in service of continuity of customer shipments," says Alae Sadic Al Hassan, acting chief operating officer - Engineering & Ventures, Qatargas.
