Qedi award for 'outstanding international achievement'

Qedi, a company offering software and services for oil and gas commissioning, has won the BP Award for Outstanding International Achievement, at The Scottish Council for Development and Industry awards.


The company won the award on the basis of increasing its turnover from £10m to £60m in 5 years. It is part of engineering giant AMEC.

It is expanding into new markets and developing new technology. The company recently opened offices in Australia and Canada.

The company's 'GO Technology' software is 'fast becoming the global industry standard for ensuring technical and asset integrity,' the company claims.

'It integrates traditional oilfield skills with new computing technologies.'
