Friday, October 11, 2024

Under this alliance, SEUS will provide global Oil & Gas Exploration Companies and Seismic Partners with data acquisition and BAINGEO will provide data processing for marine gravity and magnetic data acquired by SEUS

SEUS Geoservices AS (SEUS), based in Norway, and BAIN Geophysical Services, Inc. (BAINGEO), based in Houston, Texas USA, are pleased to announce a new global alliance for complete marine gravity and magnetic acquisition, processing and interpretation services.

Under this alliance, SEUS will provide global Oil & Gas Exploration Companies and Seismic Partners with data acquisition using state-of-the-art upgraded gravity systems from both CHEKAN and LaCoste and Romberg (L&R) technologies, and SeaSPY marine magnetometer systems, together with highly experienced onboard operations personnel.

BAINGEO will provide data processing for marine gravity and magnetic data acquired by SEUS, using the LCT Software DATAPRO as its core processing system. This work will be managed by Bob Vivian, who has more than 40 years of marine data processing experience during the many transformations of LCT (Fugro/CGG/XcaliburMP).

SEUS and BAINGEO will continue to produce the highest-quality marine gravity and magnetic data available in the industry, through rigorous testing of equipment before and after deployment, daily evaluation of field data and comprehensive weekly QC reporting, thus continuing the many decades of data excellence that this highly experience team has assembled.

BAINGEO also provides integrated interpretation of marine, airborne, land and borehole gravity and magnetic data using LCT Software, Geosoft, and custom-developed tools for gravity and magnetic depth and inversion analysis.
