SGC Engineering honored with Special Achievement Award for exceptional technolog

SGC Engineering has received a prestigious industry award in recognition of its exceptional application of geospatial technology. The company was honored with a Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) Award at the Esri International User Conference (Esri UC) in San Diego, California.

SGC is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm specializing in serving the energy and utility industry in the United States and Canada. SGC, which is a part of global-leading energy services company LR Senergy and a member of the Lloyds Register Group, uses Esri ArcGIS technology to manage project data from a variety of sources including its own surveying professionals.

SGC specializes in spatial data compilation and custom application development to give clients the tools necessary to effectively manage a project from the planning stages, to construction, to post-construction and through to operations. The Esri award acknowledges vision, leadership, hard work, and innovative use of Esri's geographic information system (GIS) technology.
