Thursday, July 10, 2014

SIGMA announces the appointment of Mark Bozich as Houston Engineering Manager. With 34 years of global energy services and operations experience and an expert in the design and 3D modeling of hydraulic fracturing programs, Bozich will develop and direct the new Houston-based Engineering division, doubling the company's ability to serve the completion and stimulation requirements of E&P clients.

'We continue to see outstanding growth opportunities for integrated GeoEngineering services to help oil and gas operators optimize their drilling, completion and stimulation efforts based on a keen understanding of reservoir properties and microseismicity,' says John Harkrider, Chief Engineer, SIGMA³. 'Mark has extensive experience in completions and hydraulic fracture treatments in unconventional reservoirs, and he shares our passion to deliver integrated solutions that help clients achieve better recovery with fewer costly stages. His global engineering services teams have supported the world's largest operators, and we look forward to supporting our Houston area clients with the same level of enthusiasm.'

Leveraging knowledge gained from completing more than 30,000 frac stages around the world, the SIGMA³ engineering team delivers optimized campaigns that help operators achieve the best production response. In his new role, Bozich will build and manage the Houston-based engineering staff responsible for performing completion and stimulation designs and production enhancement studies, as well as supervise and expand the team of engineers working onsite at client locations.

Bozich has held leadership positions across the global energy services industry, including International Engineering Advisor at Fractech Services, Vice President of Operations at Flint Energy Services, and 26 years with Halliburton Energy Services. He most recently served as a completion consultant with FTS International where he designed hydraulic stimulation projects for clients in Latin America, China and Saudi Arabia.

Bozich earned a MBA in Finance and Management from the University of Houston and a B.S. in Engineering from New Mexico State University. He is an active member of SPE, serving as Chairman of the SPE Public Service Award Selection Committee and former Chairman of the Continuing Education Committee.
