SkyWave SCADAconnect Enables 360 Degree Visibility between Field Equipment and Enterprise Plug-and-play technology solution eliminates remote satellite connectivity blind spots.

SkyWave Mobile Communications, a global provider of satellite based wireless data communications for the Machine-to-Machine (M2M) market, today announced the introduction of SCADAconnect, an end-to-end connectivity solution. Targeting Supervisory, Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) applications for oil & gas, utilities, heavy equipment and industrial automation markets, solution providers are now able to quickly apply a secure plug-and-play primary (or back-up) satellite communication link to exchange machine real-time data between field equipment and enterprise applications.

Powered by the collaboration of deviceWISETM and SkyWave's IsatData Pro, SCADAconnect makes it possible to implement SCADA applications at a lower cost and in less time. Data is transmitted in real-time -not limited to wire line or cellular communications - resulting in quicker decisions at the enterprise level.
