TUVNEL launches Houston flow measurement conference

UK flow measurement consultancy TUVNEL has launched a flow measurement conference in Houston, to be held on April 25-27.

The conference will include technical presentations and training courses, looking at better ways to measure flow of hydrocarbons, a subject with significant economic and environmental implications.

The conference committee includes representation from BP America, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Letton-Hall Group, NEL and Weatherford.

Conference topics include issues relating to complex fluids, measurement technologies, allocation and verification.

Training course will cover gas quality, gas sampling & analysis, and validation methods, provided by Micro Motion, SGS, and Southwest Research Institute.

NEL will also offer training sessions on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in oil & gas, LNG metrology, and ultrasonics.
