Xodus Group office in the Hague for integrated subsurface + surface capability

Friday, November 25, 2011

Aberdeen oil service firm Xodus Group reports that it is opening an office in The Hague, Netherlands, to provide consulting providing both surface and subsurface expertise.

The company expects to have 20 staff in its Netherlands office by the end of 2012.

Colin Manson, CEO of Xodus Group said the move was in direct response to a demand from operators for a consultancy offering the first integrated subsurface and surface service.

'We have been building our subsurface capabilities over the last two years in response to the industry need for a clearer understanding of what is going on in challenging reservoirs,' he says.

'We are taking that service offering to the next level, with a dedicated, integrated subsurface and surface team.'

The company employs 30 subsurface professionals altogether and expects this to increase to 70 during 2012.

It has appointed Boma Pepple, previously Nigeria managing director with SGS Horizon, as its new operations director.
