As an owner-operator, you may be grappling with the issue of how to do more with your offshore engineering data. However, what happens when it takes you months just to locate your data, or if you are unable to ensure its validity?
You’re not alone: owner-operators all over the word are facing this challenge. To compound the problem, many are operating assets that were put in place as far back as the mid-1960s, with input from various production sharing contractors and EPCs. Typically, these assets were handed over with many key documents missing or even incomplete. Furthermore, over the years many modifications and repair works may have been undertaken without the changes being recorded and the data or documents updated.
