Talk Description Most oil and gas operators and many contractors have the potential for tremendous improvement in the performance of their MRO inventories. By utilizing leading edge analytics tools to optimize stock, an unusual combination of reduced holding costs and improved inventory service levels is easily achievable. This, in turn, improves equipment up-time and builds trust with maintenance, operations and senior management. The key lies in analyzing and optimizing inventory reorder levels in your ERP system according to strata of criticality, item cost and item usage levels while factoring in inventory related transaction and holding costs. In this way, the performance of the entire supply chain can be improved. We will explore the critical success factors in the use of inventory analytics tools and share insights from relevant case studies.
